from The Terrace Times Cook Book, Volume 1: Paddington Edition: Minimum Effort, Maximum Effect (page 23) by Helen Arbib and Pauline Clements
One of my first cook books in the 80s. This is the first recipe I tried from this book. We weren’t disappointed.
Better than the Woolworths Fish Pie, but not as good as Matt Preston’s version, but far simpler and quicker.
Place in a casserole dish
-425g tin of tuna
-500ml of white sauce (I used the Thermomix to make a Béchamel Sauce. Easy, just put butter, flour, milk, S & P and grated nutmeg in and set and forget.)
-I teaspoon of chicken stock powder dissolved in hot water.
-4 hardboiled eggs sliced.
-S & P.
-Mix
Top with Mashed Potatoes. Depending on the size of your dish, about 1 Kg of potatoes. I used Organic Dutch Cream, and mashed with butter and cream. Place under the grill until the potatoes get a golden crust. Serve topped with Parsley.
I can see this becoming a regular.

Used a a can of Campbell’s cream of chicken soup for the white sauce. Certainly simpler and quicker.
