Conchiglie with mussels, baby capers and fresh tomatoes

from Simple Italian: The Essentials of Italian Home Cooking (page 62) by Silvia Colloca

Whilst it was good, it was not in the top of the mussel dishes cooked so far.

  • spring onions
  • garlic
  • mussels
  • Roma tomatoes (I used canned chopped tomatoes)
  • dry white wine
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • long red chillies
  • conchiglie pasta
  • baby capers

Served with crusty wholemeal bread from Field to Fork (Very good bread)
