A packet recipe from the 40g packet of dried dried porcini
Ingredients: dried porcini mushrooms, celery, garlic, onion, carrot, EVOO, lentils, tomoatos
Rigatoni pasta, chopped parsley and pecorino or parmesan cheese.
Those that read the method will see that 50g of dried porcini is suggested, yet the ingredients and the packet were only 40g. Not to miss out I had another half packet, so 60 g was used.
It soon became apparent that the recipe could easily feed 8.
However, I would not bother, the lentils cooked with just a few veggies and water lacked flavour. SWMBO added more salt, and I added chilli.
