ugust 1: Swiss National Day

On Swiss National Day (August 1) 1I was faced with choice of dusting off the fondue set or making roti, I opted for something different.

Don’t ask me to pronounce it! I followed the recipe here, but substituted cream for the water.

Ingredients: butter, onion, potatoes, flour, milk, nutmeg, chives, grated cheese & S&P.

Its a time intensive dish, but loved by the tasting panel. Comfort Food.

I served it with a salad with a dressing of EVOO, white wine vinegar, Mustard (Dijon and English), whole egg mayonnaise, & S & P.
